Medleri Wool Charkha :

We are the pioneers and the sole manufactures of Medleri Charkha, which is a foot operated and self winding type of spinning wheel. This greatly reduces fatigue and provides excellent control over twist and size of yarn.

Medleri Charkha

This machine has been designed in consultation with wool spinners under village condition with assistance from expert engineers from Holland.

The Medleri combines versatility with ease of operation and is appropriate from village condition. It produces a more even quality yarn with more twist then traditional hand- operated Charkha.

The Charkha consists of a frame to which or a fine yarn spinning mechanism (for spinning up to count to 7) is attached.

A rewind spindle is available as an accessory, which can be used to rewind the spun - yarn from the bobbin in to kukedi (cone of yarn).
